Welcome to the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Graduate Student Association at Rice University. We are the governing body of all graduate students enrolled in M.S., PhD, and M.Ch.E. programs in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department. The officers are elected by general elections towards the end of the Spring semester each year.

Our primary goal is to improve the overall experience of graduate students in our department. We strive to fulfill this goal in a number of ways. The committee members are the primary channel for the graduate students to convey their concerns and expectations to the faculty in the department. However, by no means, we are a body for academic causes alone. We organize several recreational events, like BBQs, ice-cream socials, and picnics to provide the graduate students a much-needed break from their taxing routines. We also host trivia nights and game nights to take your mind off the tiring week. Thus, we try to be an organization of the people, for the people and by the people of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department.
